Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball has remained a pop culture phenomenon for over three decades, with no signs of slowing down. As ever-stronger villains emerge to threaten the universe, Earth’s brave defenders continue to break their limits, unlocking new and unparalleled levels of power.
Dragon Ball’s heroic figures have ventured through space, time, and alternate dimensions. A structured hierarchy of divine overseers governs various tiers of existence, and the Gods of Destruction have become key figures in Dragon Ball Super.
While Universe 7’s God of Destruction has received ample focus, there remains ongoing debate about which God of Destruction is the strongest. To provide clarity, here is a ranking of the Gods of Destruction based on their sheer destructive capabilities.

12. Iwan
The Dragon Ball multiverse consists of 12 unique universes. Universe 1 is home to many formidable mortal warriors, a distinction worthy of some prestige, but the franchise tends to highlight more powerful figures. Universe 1’s God of Destruction, Iwan, stands out with his friendly and unassuming design among these deities.
Despite his imposing role, Iwan lacks notable signature attacks and is often the target of ridicule among his peers, suggesting a lack of respect from other Gods of Destruction. His brief engagements with Arak and Liquiir are unimpressive and do little to showcase his strength.
11. Arak
Arak, Universe 5’s God of Destruction, stands out as somewhat of an anomaly among his divine counterparts. Unlike many of his peers, he does not display an innate thirst for annihilation, appearing instead more invested in safeguarding the planets under his jurisdiction.
This cautious approach suggests a level of restraint uncommon among Gods of Destruction. In combat, Arak is unable to match Liquiir but fares better than Iwan, proving he is not the weakest among them.
10. Liquiir
Liquiir, a fox-like God of Destruction, initially gives the impression that he might be connected to Universe 9’s Trio of Danger, but he is actually Universe 8’s ruler. His Tail Energy Cannon technique, which temporarily multiplies his tails from three to nine, suggests impressive potential.
While this technique gives Liquiir an advantage over Iwan and Arak, his inability to withstand a single arrow from Heles and his completely ineffective attacks against Belmod indicate that he is severely outclassed by the strongest Gods of Destruction.
9. Giin
Most Gods of Destruction prioritize brute strength, but Universe 12’s barren nature has led its God of Destruction, Giin, to focus on alternative pursuits, such as time travel. While time manipulation could make him an immensely dangerous deity, he appears uninterested in direct combat.
Giin refrains from participating in the Gods of Destruction’s free-for-all battle, which could stem from arrogance or fear. When he does engage, such as his skirmish with Beerus, he struggles to keep pace.

8. Sidra
Sidra, Universe 9’s God of Destruction, is one of the most unpredictable figures among his kind. His minimal planetary destruction is less about weakness and more about disinterest in his duties. In many ways, Sidra resembles Frieza as a rogue force within the hierarchy.
However, his unconventional methods rarely work to his advantage, often alienating him further. That said, Sidra demonstrates the ability to inspire an army, and his exceptional defensive techniques allow him to withstand the devastating Hakai attacks of other Gods of Destruction.
7. Heles
Dragon Ball Super’s expansive multiverse has led to an array of unique character designs. The Gods of Destruction often embody traits reflective of their respective universes. Heles, Universe 2’s God of Destruction, takes inspiration from Egyptian mythology and is notably the only female deity among her ranks.
Possessing extraordinary speed, strength, and a versatile arsenal of projectiles, Heles wields power beyond standard God of Destruction abilities. However, her vanity sometimes clouds her strategic decision-making, preventing her from reaching even greater heights.
6. Champa
Champa, Universe 6’s God of Destruction, is the twin brother of Beerus from Universe 7. However, the stark difference in their power levels underscores the significance of disciplined training and motivation. Champa often shirks his responsibilities, relying on his Angel, Vados, to handle matters.
While more inclined to devise schemes than engage in direct combat, Champa remains a formidable force, capable of destroying planets effortlessly. If he were ever to find proper motivation, his potential could be truly terrifying.
5. Mosco And Mule
Universe 3 heavily relies on robotics, and accordingly, its God of Destruction, Mule, achieves peak power when piloting his massive mecha, Mosco. Mosco’s durability and sheer strength make him a difficult opponent to overcome.
During battle, Mosco manages to restrain both Liquiir and Beerus. It takes three additional Gods of Destruction—Quitela, Rumsshi, and Champa—to finally subdue him. Under the right circumstances, Mule and Mosco could significantly alter the current power structure.

4. Rumsshi
Rumsshi, Universe 10’s God of Destruction, boasts a distinctive design that complements his remarkable lung capacity. His signature technique, the Battle Roar, generates powerful energy waves capable of paralyzing adversaries.
This ability proves effective even against other Gods of Destruction during their grand brawl. However, Beerus ultimately overcomes him. Given the right scenario, a surprise Battle Roar attack could tip the balance in Rumsshi’s favor.
3. Quitela
Quitela, Universe 4’s God of Destruction, may seem unassuming, but he should not be underestimated. His main weaknesses, like those of Beerus and Champa, are his laziness and arrogance.
Despite this, Quitela possesses impressive manipulation skills, allowing him to have others do his bidding. In terms of raw strength and speed, he is no pushover. During the Zeno Expo, he is one of the last Gods of Destruction still standing alongside Beerus.

2. Belmod
Among the Gods of Destruction, Belmod exudes a particularly menacing presence. His chilling clown-like appearance is backed by substantial power, making him a truly fearsome figure.
1. Lord Beerus
Beerus, Universe 7’s God of Destruction, is the strongest of them all, capable of holding his own against his divine peers.
