Few anime moments have sparked as much debate as Gojo’s shocking death in Jujutsu Kaisen. Sukuna’s sudden and devastating attack left fans stunned, as it bypassed the seemingly impenetrable Infinity technique. While some defended it as a testament to Sukuna’s unrivaled power, many believed the move defied the established rules of the series, making Gojo’s defeat feel forced.

Enter Dragon Ball Super fans, who wasted no time drawing parallels to their own universe. Comparing Sukuna’s attack to reality-breaking techniques seen in Dragon Ball, they argue that the move wasn’t outlandish but expected at such high levels of battle. As a result, they’ve turned this comparison into a trolling war, claiming that Jujutsu Kaisen fans simply weren’t ready for power scaling on a Dragon Ball level.

Sukuna’s Victory Over Gojo Sparked Fan Outrage

For years, Jujutsu Kaisen fans had anticipated the ultimate showdown between Gojo and Sukuna. The fight stretched over multiple chapters, with Gojo proving his dominance. However, just when it seemed he had the upper hand, Sukuna unleashed an attack that sliced through space and time, instantly cutting Gojo in half. It was a jaw-dropping moment that left many fans feeling betrayed.

The controversy surrounding Gojo’s death came from how his Infinity technique was marketed as an impenetrable defense. Fans had been led to believe that nothing could bypass it, yet Sukuna’s strike effortlessly tore through, contradicting everything previously established. This left many questioning whether the fight was truly fair or if the series had broken its own rules to eliminate Gojo.

Dragon Ball Super fans, however, quickly jumped into the conversation, pointing out that this type of reality-breaking attack is nothing new. They referenced the battle between Gogeta and Broly in Dragon Ball Super: Broly, where the sheer intensity of their fight caused distortions in space-time. In their eyes, Sukuna’s move wasn’t absurd—it was the kind of power expected at the peak of battle.

According to Dragon Ball fans, the key takeaway from Broly vs. Gogeta is that once fighters reach a certain level, the laws of nature no longer apply. Jujutsu Kaisen fans may see Gojo’s death as unfair, but Dragon Ball enthusiasts argue that Sukuna simply fought on a level beyond Gojo’s comprehension—much like how Gogeta initially underestimated Broly’s capabilities.

A crucial aspect of this comparison is that Gojo, much like Gogeta, failed to anticipate his opponent’s full potential. In Dragon Ball Super, Gogeta struggled against Broly because he didn’t fully understand how powerful his enemy could become. Similarly, Gojo underestimated Sukuna’s ability to transcend conventional limits, leading to his downfall.

Real Reason Why Jujutsu Kaisen Would Have Been Over If Gojo Had Turned Evil

This parallel has only fueled online debates, with Dragon Ball fans taking the opportunity to troll Jujutsu Kaisen fans for their outrage. While some argue that Sukuna’s move was a logical extension of his abilities, others see it as an inconsistent power jump that undermined Gojo’s character. Regardless, the comparison between these two legendary fights has sparked an intense cross-fandom discussion.
