Doctor Detective is an ongoing Thai doctor drama. Its first episode was aired on Monday, 21st August, 2023. It releases new episodes every Monday on respective streaming platforms. The drama is to have a total of 18 episodes with a duration of 1 hour and 10 minutes for each episode.
It has been directed by Kungfu Nitivat Cholvanichsiti and Wiliawan Sangkaphibal. The screenwriter for the series is Jaotarn Piyaporn Wayuparp. The drama revolves around a group of epidemiologists under the leadership of Doctor Khunkhao coming together to fight against the Ebola virus, which is spreading in the city.
Doctor Detective Episode 4: Recap (Spoilers)
Doctor Detective’s last episode opens up with Jane getting her wounds dressed by Khunkhao at his place. She thanked her and gave him the nickname of Mr. Handsome Doctor.
Just right that moment, Dr Lin, who is Khunkhao’s girlfriend, shows up. She misunderstood the situation. Jane explains to her, and so Lin reluctantly accepts her say and offers to drive home since she has already wasted their date.
But Lin drives recklessly while driving Jane to her home. Jane senses it may be out of jealousy. Meanwhile, Khunkhao calls Jane to inform her that she left her notebook at his place. She asks him to hand it over to her office tomorrow. On hearing this, Lin takes a fierce U-turn, saying she should get the notebook right now and rest at home tomorrow since her leg is hurt.
Khunhao, the next day, visits the temple he has gone to go often since childhood. He asks the priest for advice on how he should manage his thoughts and save the people. The priest gives him pieces of advice, and Khunkhao pays his respect and comes back.
Jane at the office seems to work on the case, as always, with focus. Then suddenly, his team head comes in a suspicious mood. She asks him the real reason why he is so cheesy to her.
His team had suggested and persuaded her to write on the menial daily household news, which attracted a large number of views. But Jane is stuck to the Ministry of Health news since it is connected with the welfare of people.
Jane is stubborn, and she is trying her best to uncover the whole truth behind the outbreak of the virus. Meanwhile, Khunkhao wants to se Dr. Rham, but he would talk to him for some reason. Khukhao tries to persuade Jane to let his dad talk to him for a minute.
Jane asks for the lab result in exchange for fixing an appointment with his dad. Lin overhears their conversation and goes to Khunkhao, saying she can make an appointment with Dr. Rham instead of her.
Khunkhao gets some lead in the case regarding the involvement of a pharmaceutical company. The director of the company turns out to be Khunkhao’s childhood classmate. On meeting him in the company, Khunkhao’s suspicion reaches its top. Can he unravel the truth?
