A new Turkish drama that fans were curious about has finally been released. The show called Dilek Tasi translates directly to “wishing stone” and is made under the direction of Altan Donmez. Dilek Tasi: The Plot
This melodrama is set somewhere in the 1980s, with two completely different families living completely different lives. There is Aras Rona and Ruchan Rona, who are a part of this extremely rich family that has had everything with them since the start of time.
Then there is another family that lives in the same mansion, maybe not in the mansion but more on the outskirts, and leads a completely different life from the owners of the mansion. We are talking about Figen Kutlu, played by Hazal Subasi, who lives in the outbuildings of the Rona mansion, along with her family.
The show gets properly kickstarted when the Rona family is forced to adopt Cemre, the daughter of a guy named Mustafa Yilmaz, played by actor Salih Bademic. Mustafa is stuck in a long court procedure for he is on the death penalty.
As he figures his way out of that one, or not, the Child Protection Agency makes the decision to send his beloved daughter, Cemre, to the Rona family, hoping for them to adopt her. With her mother dead and her father fighting for his life, Cemre gets adopted into the Rona family, and this show is a story about her life at the mansion and her father’s struggle with the court to get custody of his daughter back.

With a total of twenty episodes to be released, the producers of the show released the first episode of the series on Thursday, 7th September 2023. With a runtime of a little over two hours, new episodes are being released consistently on a weekly basis, i.e., every Thursday.
