Jia Cheng and Yu Shanshan, the main characters of the Manhwa, were seen cuddling, or the equivalent of it. While one was unaware of the troubles the other had to go through, Cheng was gentle enough not to bother her with them.
Demon X Angel, Can’t Get Along! is a rather popular online novel written by Fei Luo Mao and tells the story of a demon and angel whose lives collide after the latter suddenly falls from the sky out of nowhere!
This fated couple was now expected to marry one another to seal the peace between the worlds of demons and angels. They weren’t willing to fight against each other anymore, so they paired Jia Cheng and Yu Shanshan to the test.
The two of them will have a trial-based marriage of one year. If it works out, peace and harmony will succeed on both sides. But if it doesn’t, then the marriage will end, and destruction will doom their people.

Jia Cheng, who was sleeping as peacefully as one could dream of, was suddenly woken up from his slumber only to find Yu Shanshan sleeping right next to him. Not only that, she was also extremely close to him and was holding his hand.
Entering straight into panic mode, Jai Cheng had no memory whatsoever of how he ended up in this position and why Shanshan was sleeping beside him. In a hurry to not upset her, he tries his best to remove himself, but Shanshan will not let go.
Cheng attempts to let go of her grip, but Shanshan keeps getting closer. When she becomes a bit conscious, Cheng has some hope, but the only thing she blurts out is the word “pudding.” Immediately after, Shanshan chomps on his ear.
Confused and also shocked at her sleeping habits, Cheng pulls Shanshan away with his tail. However, all his efforts are in vain as she grabs Cheng’s tail and falls on him, giving him a peck on the cheek. Flustered by this move, he lets go.
Meanwhile, Ying Xi is having her own little photoshoot. Tired of wearing different clothes and posing for them, Ying Xi was eager to take some rest. Her photographers, however, had other plans as they kept bringing more clothes to shoot with.
When Ying Xi was done, she finally took a breath of relief only to see her photographers bring out more dresses. The sight of the clothes made Ying Xi tear up, and she broke down, hinting that she couldn’t do it anymore.
Coming back to Jia Cheng and Yu Shanshan, it seems that Cheng finally gave up on removing her. Now sleep-deprived, a day had already passed, and Shanshan was still coddled right next to him. The chapter ends with Cheng looking tired, with Shanshan clueless about his sufferings.
