In an autobiography, Beckham: My World, David Beckham shared his parents’ relationship. He mentioned that his father, Ted, loved his mother, but never showed it in front of his children. Not just David but also his sisters blamed their father, Ted, for their separation. The Salford City co-owner said, “He (his father) is quite hard-faced and can be sarcastic.” He also mentioned that Ted used to be very short-tempered.
While announcing the divorce, neither Ted Beckham nor Sandra West publicized any specific reason. But, based on what their son, David said, it seems like Ted’s short-tempered nature ruined it to some extent. However, the bigger part is still mysterious.
