Dangerous Dungeon Escape is the story of Go Insung, who did not go to hell or heaven after his death but instead to a dungeon, a place between the afterlife and the world. The dungeon had a system. Go Insung has to clear challenges in order to escape while being watched by numerous dead.
Go Insung was fighting will his full strength, monsters were pouring in from all his surroundings. Front, back, top side, everywhere he was surrounded by these monsters. One of them attacked him from the top, and suddenly he died. He couldn’t understand where he went wrong, but it was too late, and he was dead.
When he opened his eyes, he couldn’t figure out where he was, and he couldn’t remember what exactly happened. He then felt his surrounding was made of wood and tried to break it. While doing so, a weird kind of liquid started pouring out of the wall. His wounds started healing after he drank that liquid.
He kept striking the wall until he finally saw a ray of light. When he got out, he saw the status window saying he had entered the Dungeon 2 and was one of only 90 members. Insung thought he had been pulled into some weird game and just wanted to get out of it.
He was in the midst of a broadcast, and when he checked the settings of this channel, he realized he had been in the coffin for over 306 days. Someone was watching him, but he couldn’t figure out who, the person on the screen told him he was not dead but he was at the same time.
He was the 100th person out of the 101 people who completed the tutorial, and the next dungeon was limited to only 90 people. The streamers kept giving him hints, but still, it was hard for him to figure out what to do next. And that’s how his journey in this new place began.
Previously on Dangerous Dungeon Escape Chapter 28: Recap
In Chapter 28 of Dangerous Dungeon Escape, we saw there was an issue with the stream due to some bug in operation, but it had been taken care of. Insung decided to do his job since he knew nothing except that. The building was about the height of a 5 story building, and there was something at the top.
A door, and it was clear he had to get out of it. He pretty much figured out the structure, after which he decided to unbox his random skill book. He opened the shop, but there were only a few things for sale. It would be the end by the time he finds the hexagon portal.
He got a magnifying glass which had an arrow that pointed towards the hexagon portal. Even with that, he had no luck, so he decided to check out the well and jumped in. The water was pulling him in, and in front of him were deadly fishes swimming at full speed toward him.
When he thought he would die Young-Gwi’s talent in swimming came to his rescue, and he dragged him out of the water. He figured the water pulled living beings like zombies, so he decided to increase his vitality first with the remaining bamboo fruit.
He was looking at the well from the top and saw the water level rising, and by the time he could do anything, the water started flowing out of the well. He somehow swam up to the door on top and finally held the handle. But it didn’t open. He wondered if the other side of the door was also filled with water.
He knew about the water pressure difference, and that helped him open the door, and he finally got out. The magnifying glass pointed upwards, and he followed it and came out. He was ranked 1st 7 times and was awarded an F-rank skill book for it.
