Monday Night Raw might be missing some big stars, but things are going well for the red brand. With wrestlers like CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Cody Rhodes out of action, there’s been a chance for new faces to shine. Triple H, the new head of creative, is making sure to give them opportunities.
Seeks Challenges After Backlash Win
Damian Priest is a prime example! He cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania 40 to become World Heavyweight Champion, and he hasn’t slowed down since. He’s now the leader of The Judgment Day stable.
In a recent interview, Priest talked about his goals as a champion. He wants to be a “workhorse champion” like Seth Rollins was during his title reign. This means he wants to defend the championship frequently and face all challengers.
“I want to take on everyone and anyone at any point,” Priest said. “When it comes to the roster, I want a piece of everybody.”
Right now, Priest isn’t involved in any one-on-one feuds. However, that could change soon. With his open challenge, it seems likely a new challenger will step up to the plate on RAW very soon.
