The standalone series follows Weak, a washed-up cyberpunk legend forced to live without cybernetic enhancements as he searches for purpose in a world that has moved on. Meanwhile, a deadly nomad named D pursues revenge, drawing closer to corporate secrets that were never meant to be uncovered.
The story explores how personal ambitions and relationships become entangled in Night City’s brutal environment. Unlike a direct continuation of the original anime, the new installment builds its own cast and narrative within the established universe.
The voice cast includes Valeria Rodriguez as Roman Carax, Kimoy Lee as Talia Yang, Cesili Williams as Avida Yang, Daniel Wu as Kiril Yang, Brittany Lauda as Capri, and E.G. Daily as Kyoko Tanaami.
