Marvel Studios has added another young actor to the growing cast of Avengers: Secret Wars. Noah Jupe, who has appeared in A Quiet Place, A Quiet Place Part II, and Hamnet, has reportedly joined the film in a mystery role.

The news was first reported by Deadline, which says Jupe is expected to play an important part in the story. Marvel Studios and Disney have not revealed who he will play, making his casting one of the film’s biggest mysteries for fans.

Marvel Is Keeping Jupe’s Character Hidden

Jupe’s casting is notable because Secret Wars is expected to bring together characters from several corners of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and its wider multiverse. The film will follow Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled to arrive in December 2026 and will place Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom at the center of the next major MCU conflict.

According to Deadline, Jupe has been cast in a “secret, prominent role.” The report also confirms that the actor will appear in Secret Wars, rather than Doomsday, an important distinction given the enormous number of characters involved in the two connected projects.

The secrecy has already encouraged speculation about who Jupe could portray. Possible theories circulating among fans include Franklin Richards, the son of Reed Richards and Sue Storm, or a younger version of another established Marvel character. However, none of these possibilities has been confirmed by Marvel and should be treated strictly as fan speculation.

Jupe Already Has a Connection to Marvel’s Next Generation

The casting also creates an interesting connection between Jupe and Sadie Sink, who recently became part of Marvel’s plans for its next generation of X-Men characters. Jupe and Sink appeared together in a West End production of Romeo & Juliet, giving the two actors an existing professional relationship before their reported Marvel roles.

Sink has been announced as Jean Grey, while Marvel’s upcoming X-Men plans are expected to expand the franchise’s younger roster.

That connection has naturally fueled theories that Jupe could play another mutant, although there is currently no reliable confirmation of such a role.

Secret Wars Is Building Toward Marvel’s Multiverse Finale

Joe and Anthony Russo are returning to direct Avengers: Secret Wars, following their work on Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. The movie is currently scheduled for December 17, 2027, with production expected to begin later in 2026.

With Jupe now joining an already massive ensemble, Marvel continues to expand the cast without revealing exactly how its characters will connect.

For now, Noah Jupe’s unknown character is another piece of the puzzle surrounding what Marvel intends to make its next major Avengers event.
