Crimson Desert has generated an estimated $426.7 million in premium revenue, according to Alinea Analytics estimates covering Steam, Xbox and PlayStation. The figure places Pearl Abyss’ open-world action game fourth among the 2026 releases tracked in Alinea’s latest premium-revenue ranking, behind EA Sports FC 27, Resident Evil Requiem, and Forza Horizon 6.

The performance is particularly notable because Crimson Desert is a new IP, yet its estimated revenue has surpassed several established franchises in the same ranking. The game sits above 007 First Light, NBA 2K27, College Football 27, and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, which generated an estimated $320.1 million, $309.1 million, $264.1 million, and $245.9 million, respectively.

Crimson Desert’s Strong Sales Continue After Launch

The revenue estimate comes as Crimson Desert continues to post strong sales numbers. Pearl Abyss announced in June that the game had surpassed 6 million copies sold worldwide, reaching the milestone 83 days after its March 19 launch. The company previously revealed that the game sold 2 million copies on its first day and passed 5 million sales within 26 days.

The game’s launch also produced strong engagement on PC. Pearl Abyss reported a peak of 276,261 concurrent players on Steam, while the developer has continued releasing updates based on player feedback.

Crimson Desert’s commercial performance is notable given its position as a new franchise from a South Korean developer. The Washington Post, reporting on the game’s previous milestone of 5 million sales, described it as the fastest-selling South Korean game at the time.

Pearl Abyss has continued supporting the game with additional content and improvements, helping maintain interest in the open-world adventure beyond its initial launch. The upcoming Charting the Unknown DLC was recently delayed by two weeks as the developer works toward a more polished and stable release.
