Pearl Abyss’ Crimson Desert Enhanced has received two nominations at the Golden Joystick Awards 2026, putting the open-world action-adventure game in contention for PC Game of the Year and Best Soundtrack. The nominations recognize its PC gameplay and immersive musical presentation.
According to Pearl Abyss’ official announcement, Crimson Desert Enhanced has also recorded strong commercial results in 2026. The company states that the game ranked second in cumulative U.S. video game sales based on Circana data, while Alinea Analytics placed it first in Steam revenue among new IPs released this year.
The Golden Joystick Awards have been running since 1983 and are now in their 44th edition. Winners across the relevant categories will be decided through public voting, with voting scheduled to close on October 23. The winners will be revealed during the ceremony in London on November 11. Crimson Desert Enhanced is also preparing for its first major DLC. Charting the Unknown is scheduled to launch globally on October 16, adding new exploration across the sea, islands, underwater locations, enemies, and story content.
