ENA’s hit traffic-crime investigation drama Crash is returning with a second season, bringing back its beloved investigative team alongside a new addition played by NCT’s Jisung.
Titled Crash 2, the upcoming season promises more complex cases, expanded investigations, and stronger teamwork as the Traffic Crime Investigation (TCI) unit takes on increasingly sophisticated criminals.
On October 13, the drama unveiled behind-the-scenes footage from its script-reading session, offering fans a first look at the returning cast and Jisung’s transformation into his new character.
The series is scheduled to premiere on November 16, 2026, at 10 p.m. KST.
Original Cast Returns As The TCI Team Takes On Bigger Cases
The first season of Crash premiered in 2024 and attracted attention for focusing on traffic crime investigations, following the TCI team as they pursued criminals responsible for dangerous offenses on the road.
The drama eventually became ENA’s second-highest-rated series at the time, building anticipation for its return.
Lee Min Ki reprises his role as Cha Yeon Ho, an investigator renowned for his exceptional analytical abilities.
His talent for identifying the causes of traffic accidents and crimes, combined with his attention to even the smallest clues, will once again place him at the center of the team’s investigations.
Kwak Sun Young returns as Min So Hee, whose practical martial arts skills and relentless investigative instincts make her a formidable member of the unit.
She is expected to continue playing a crucial role in bringing traffic criminals to justice.
Heo Sung Tae also reprises his role as Jung Chae Man, the TCI team leader and a dependable figure within the unit.
His character continues to carry the emotional weight of losing his wife in a hit-and-run incident.
Meanwhile, Lee Ho Chul returns as Woo Dong Gi, the team’s traffic-crime analyst.
Although he has a gentle personality, he possesses exceptional observational and data-analysis skills that help the team uncover important clues.
Moon Hee completes the returning lineup as Eo Hyun Kyung, a character known for her intelligence-gathering abilities and impressive martial arts skills.
With the original cast members reuniting, viewers can look forward to seeing the established team dynamic continue as the investigators confront more challenging cases.
NCT’s Jisung Joins The Team As Rookie Officer Ji Dae Se
One of the biggest changes in Crash 2 is the addition of NCT’s Jisung, who joins the TCI team as rookie patrol officer Ji Dae Se at Namgang Police Station.
Ji Dae Se possesses judo skills and admires the TCI investigators, making his involvement in their work an important step in his development as a police officer.
As he participates in investigations, he will also begin building relationships with his new teammates.
The newly released script-reading footage gives viewers a glimpse of Jisung preparing for the role.
Despite his typically cool image, the idol is taking on a character who must find his place within an experienced investigative team.
The upcoming season will also expand the scope of the TCI unit’s operations.
According to the production team, the investigations will extend nationwide, bringing the team face-to-face with traffic crimes that are more advanced and larger in scale.
The production team stated,
“As the scope of the investigation has expanded nationwide, the traffic crimes T.C.I faces will become even more advanced and larger in scale.”
They also encouraged viewers to anticipate the team’s continued pursuit of increasingly clever criminals, alongside an even stronger team dynamic.
With its returning cast, a new rookie officer, and investigations that reach beyond the team’s previous boundaries, Crash 2 is preparing to deliver another round of high-stakes traffic-crime cases.
Crash 2 will premiere on November 16, 2026, at 10 p.m. KST on ENA.
