Netflix’s latest Top 10 rankings show that Kevin Hart’s comedy 72 Hours continues to dominate the platform’s English-language movie chart, holding the No. 1 position for a second consecutive week. The film recorded 25.1 million views during the latest tracking period, proving that the comedy has maintained strong audience interest after its debut.
According to Netflix’s official weekly Top 10 report from Netflix Tudum, 72 Hours follows Joe, a 40-year-old advertising executive experiencing a career slump who unexpectedly joins a bachelor party trip after being added to a group chat meant for younger partygoers. The movie stars Kevin Hart alongside Marcello Hernández, Mason Gooding, Kam Patterson, and Ben Marshall.
While the comedy continues its successful run, Netflix’s English TV chart saw a major debut from the true crime documentary The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare, which entered the No. 1 spot with 18.2 million views.
True crime and returning favorites drive Netflix’s weekly rankings
The three-part documentary series explores the 2022 Idaho college student murders through police footage, investigative material, and personal accounts from the victims’ families. Its strong debut highlights continued audience interest in real-life crime stories on Netflix.
Another true crime title, A Toxic Love Story, remained popular on the English movie chart, taking the No. 2 position with 12.9 million views. The documentary follows a woman who receives violent threats from an unknown sender before an investigation reveals a complicated story involving betrayal and hidden details.
Meanwhile, Ransom Canyon Season 2 climbed to No. 2 on the English TV list with 5.5 million views. The modern Western drama, starring Minka Kelly and Josh Duhamel, follows multiple ranching families fighting to protect their relationships and way of life. The first season also returned to the rankings, landing at No. 5 with 2.5 million views.
Netflix’s historical drama The Bombing of Pan Am 103 also made a strong debut, reaching No. 3 on the English TV chart with 5 million views. The six-part series examines the 1988 bombing tragedy, the investigation that followed, and the aftermath of an attack that claimed 270 lives.
Netflix hits continue climbing in popularity charts
Several shows and movies continued gaining momentum beyond their initial releases. The thriller I Will Find You, based on a story by Harlan Coben, reached No. 4 on the English TV chart with 4.8 million views and climbed into Netflix’s Most Popular Shows list with 106.7 million views across seven weeks.
The animated movie Swapped also continued its impressive performance, reaching No. 7 on the English movie list with 3 million views. The film has now accumulated 144.9 million views over 12 weeks, placing it among Netflix’s most-watched movies of all time.
Long-running titles also maintained their presence in the rankings. The romantic comedy Voicemails for Isabelle reached No. 4 on the English movie chart for its seventh straight week with 3.6 million views, while the action film War Machine appeared at No. 8 during its 10th week with 2.9 million views.
On the English TV side, Little House on the Prairie secured No. 6 with 2.5 million views, while golf comedy series The Hawk ranked No. 8 with 2.3 million views.
Outside the English-language charts, Brazilian thriller Elize: Shadows of a Woman remained No. 1 on the non-English movie list with 17.4 million views, while French military drama Elite Force continued leading the non-English TV rankings with 6.9 million views.
Netflix also corrected a previous reporting error involving Hot Ones: Extra Heat, which was added to the Global Top 10 TV list for the week of July 13, 2026, changing the rankings for several titles.
