When it comes to children’s shows on Cartoon Network, we have to talk about Matt Burnett and Ben Levin’s “Craig of the Week,” a cartoon about a ten-year-old boy living in Baltimore named Craig and his two buddies JP and Kelsey, who each chapter leave their ordinary houses and enter a real of untamed wildness called “The Creek”.
With its unique blend of crisp-clear animation, setting, themes, and characters, this is a show you should put your kids to watch as it is part of the Cartoon Network offer for young children between 7 to 12 years old, and it is a Common Sense Media Award-winner as well as a Daytime Emmy Award-nominee series.
As stated earlier, in each chapter, Craig and his buddies venture into the “Creek” and find new challenges that put them in contact with monsters, aliens, robots, superhumans, and other species, as well as the inhabitants of the creek and the antagonists they must defeat in clever, interesting forms. Each character has its own personality, abilities, and capacities that make them stand out from the others and allow Craig and his gang to come out on top in every episode. Furthermore, the series is delivered in a short 10 to 15-minute format so that parents can take advantage of the episodes’ length if they don’t want their kids to be overexposed to screen time.
Craig of The Creek Season 4 Episode 35 Recap
The previous episodes of Craig of The Creek were quite diverse; firstly, we saw how Craig and his buddies got an invitation to a “Slime Factory”, a funny spin on that Willy Wonka story, as Kelsey and JP fell pretty much like the kids of Willy Wonka in some misbehavior after playing with some slime in the factory, Oeey, the factory owner punishes them but eventually apologizes and gives them a lifetime provision of slime to play.
Then, we see Bernard and Craig go to Herkelston University; Craig goes on an adventure on campus that makes him meet Kenneth, the two share their life challenges about friendship and navigating through complicated situations, and then they go back home with Bernard.
Lastly, we see how the Stump Kids navigate a water body to eventually land on an island where they meet a dude named Lou, who fixes their boat, and while he’s at it, the crew meets a group of children with not-so-kind behavior that eventually leads the crew to teach them a lesson, while they’re at it, they find out that Lou was fixing their boat to leave the island and the kids behind, so the team stops Lou, and then, they go back home.
