The story is about Go Hae-Ra, a woman who is ready to start her career after a seven-year break. Her experience fails to fetch her a high-position job, so she has to start from scratch as an intern. Even this job does not come her way easily as her ex-colleague, and now manager Choi Jun has an illegitimate offer to grant her a raise in her career.
Cold Blooded Intern Episode 2 Recap
The episode begins with a flashback scene where a lady is standing on the edge of the terrace, and a paper of no pregnancy contract drops from her hand. Go Hae-Ra arrives there. Now, we get back to the present time, where Go is back as an intern at her company Market House.
Her old colleague and now general manager Choi Ji-Won makes an unethical offer to Go. She wants her to force pregnant working females or working mothers at the office to resign or create a situation so that the company can fire them.
If she succeeds, she will get her position back as a manager. Go starts her work at the office where Mr. So tries to command her but also fears her because she was once a manager and a senior to him.
Go is fine with any work she gets because she is in dire need of the job. She gets coffee for Mr. So and obeys the orders she gets. She tries to persuade pregnant Ms. Lee to take her time off from the job for her baby, but her real intention is to get the promotion.
A sudden office crisis gives rise to tension as the designs are not ready, and the designer is not reachable. Lee and Go drive to his place, but the door is locked. They finally get a clue as his photo of running a marathon is uploaded.
Meanwhile, Go’s husband Gong So Pyo, visits an amusement park without telling his family, as they are yet to get the news that he was fired. When he screams out loud in frustration, he finds his daughter has also bunked her class and is sitting next to him.
Both of them have a deal to keep their secrets from Go. On the other hand, Go arrives near the river bank side to find the designer. She insists Lee to sit and runs to find the man instead. After her hard work, when she finally finds him, she lets him go because of her deal with Choi Ji-Won.
Due to stress, Lee faces premature labor pain and is rushed to the hospital. Go feels guilty about it and takes responsibility in front of Ji-won, but she is happy as the baby and mother are safe, and Lee has also decided to resign from the job.

Cold Blooded Intern Episode 3 Preview
In the next episode, intern Go will question Choi Ji-Won about her extreme choices and strategy of letting pregnant and working mothers out of the office. Go will also have a breakdown due to the situation she is in.
Geum is also deciding to take her leave as her child will begin elementary school and says Go will benefit the most from it. Chairman Joo Gwang Soo will question Ji-Won about the commission she has been taking. Ji Won and Go will clash and challenge each other.
