Cirkus Movie Plot
Cirkus starts with Dr. Roy Jamnadas having a conversation with other doctors about Surrogacy and how they should focus on Surrogacy if some parents are unable to have kids, but as the time period is set in the 60s, the doctors argued that if they would follow and focus on Surrogacy, then the kids would not be blood-related.
This statement of other Doctors made Dr. Roy Jamnadas furious because he mainly wanted to change the mindset of people about Surrogacy. So one day, he decides to swap two sets of twins with one another to support his theory.
The theory of Dr. Roy was family should be made with love and care, and blood-related should not be the main priority, and only to prove this theory of his, he exchanged the two sets of twins when they got adopted. Now the parents of both the twins named them Roy and Joy because they got adopted from the orphanage of Dr. Roy Jamnadas and Joy Jamnadas.
After many years passed, Roy Chohan lives in Ooty and works in a Circus, whereas Roy Shenoy lives in Bangalore. Whenever Roy entertains people in the circus by performing his signature stunt, he never gets hurt.
The signature stunt of Roy Chohan is to hold wires with a charge current, but he never gets hurt, so people find it very fascinating. Meanwhile, whenever Roy Chohan touches the wires, Roy Shenoy gets the current which only affects Roy Shenoy but also affects people around him.
One day, Roy Shenoy comes to Ooty with his brother Joy Shenoy, and that’s when the whole mess gets to start. The father of Roy Shenoy’s girlfriend catches Roy Chohan with his wife, and he thinks that Roy Shenoy is cheating on her daughter, Bindu.
Later, everyone discovers the truth that Dr. Roy Jamnadas actually swapped the two sets of twins, and only because of him did all this mess started. Roy Jamnadas stated everything he did and why he did it. After everything gets revealed, Roy Chohan changes his mind about the blood relationships. The movie ended with some specific kids in front of the orphanage, and that part was actually a reference to Golmaal.
Overall, the story of this film is kind of entertaining, but it is not that good according to the viewers, which is why the reviews of Cirkus are kind of bad.
