Cinderella Wasn’t Me: Chapter 88 Recap

In the previous chapter of Cinderella Wasn’t Me, Cesio gives Terryl a communication device that can be used to communicate over long distances as well. According to Cesio, the two of them would be able to communicate from anywhere within the Empire. The device had been imbibed with spiritual energy to make it feasible for long distances. Terryl thanks Cesio for the gift and as the two get down from the carriage, they are greeted by an unfamiliar face who wants Cesio to come to the Dabrich House for his heir ceremony.

Terryl is confused about the ceremony happening in the middle of the night but according to the visitor, the time between midnight and sunrise is considered sacred and the ceremony must be held in that duration.
