So after settling down at her lodge, without wasting a minute, Amy decided to leave and click for her first waterfall so she could receive approval. On her way, after taking a long route, as she is not that outgoing, Amy met a tour guide named Mark North and his daughter Kyra. As they got to know each other, she talked about looking for Redwood Falls, but Mark acted like it was just a myth. Amy believes that’s what the locals do so that tourists don’t find them.
Later on, Amy finds out, that Mark is the only person who could take her to Redwood falls. It took some convincing, and somehow, Mark agreed to take her on his day off along with his daughter Kyra. On their trips, they got to know each other further, including these waterfalls being Amy’s big break and Mark being divorced. Amy became a huge help to his daughter Kyra when it came to photography and some dating. Mark and Amy got closer and closer with every new activity as they visited every waterfall around.
Amy certainly impressed her Boss with the photographs. Therefore she got a new project, “Mythical Waterfalls Revealed”. Amy’s drive continued, and finally, she came to an agreement with Mark. He asked Amy to swear an oath that she would never disclose the location of Angel falls or Redwood falls to anyone. Then only he may take her to the location. She agreed, and it was a matter of time, she also realized she was head over heels for Mark.
Chasing Waterfalls Ending Explained
Mark took Amy to the legendary Angel Falls. After an open mic night at the lodge, she sent those photographs to Explorer Global Magazine. Amy’s Boss Camilla took clear notice of the photographs and loved them. The only thing is, that Amy didn’t geotag the images, and Camilla wanted the location of these waterfalls.
Amy’s friend Penny tried to explain the oath to Camilla and why the waterfalls need to be kept hidden. But Camilla wanted it anyway. The article got published, and the location of the waterfalls was revealed. This caused a rift between Mark and her. Mark didn’t want the world to know about these places. People come and then litter around, ruining the beauty of nature, but now it’s of no use.
Amy tried explaining to Mark. When it didn’t work, Amy decided to confront her Boss, but she shoved her with another assignment. Kyra heard everything Amy talk with her Boss. She understood the gravity of the situation. As Amy was leaving, she decided to bid adieu to Kyra and decided she would say a final goodbye to Mark and then leave.
So using the compass Mark gifted her, she tried to track Mark but got lost. Later Mike came to the lodge to realize Amy might not have left yet. Kyra told Mark what really went down, and this saw him tracking down and reuniting with Amy near a waterfall that turned out to be Redwood falls. The one Amy was looking for all along. Amy believed Redwood Falls didn’t want its picture to be taken. She decided to follow the same. Mark and Amy kissed too.
