It was inevitable that when we learned that a war would break out, Denji would move on his own. Amidst this massacre, no one will look out for anyone. It certainly isn’t the Public Safety Division’s priority anymore to keep Denji from transforming into Chainsaw Man when the whole world is at war.
Chainsaw Man has never been the most chaotic if we don’t consider this always being chaotic. Fujimoto is still taking the progression of his story very slowly and we are going to assume what is next for the series by taking a look at the smallest of the things.
The story is slowly progressing with no end game so far being revealed but what we do know is Denji has more feelings for Asa than we thought. Amidts a rowdy boy who is always looking for ways to sleep with girls, Denji is a sweetheart who cares about his kiss with Asa as it was the only perfect kiss he has ever had.
This development has the fans looking forward to seeing what is next for the series and where this narrative will move. Chainsaw Man Chapter 150 will be the next installment in the series which will be released at the start of December which means we still have weeks before the chapters are released.

Recap And Review
Chainsaw Man Chapter 149 continues to see the public looking out for the Chainsaw Man and many have them started to act like people in a riot would. They believe that killing the Chainsaw Man would bring this massacre to a stop and thus keep on moving forward to seeing killing any who can transform into a Chainsaw Man.
Fumiko is still doing her job of protecting Denji and Nayuta and when Denji asks if he should be transforming into Chainsaw Man since it is an emergency situation, Fumiko responds that she will try to protect them.
Contrary to this, Nayuta says that she won’t be able to protect them as she is weak and even demonstrates an act on how easily she could kill her. Denji tells Fumiko to get out as he saves her from being killed and the latter has no choice but to get away.
Nayuta reveals to Denji how they should be living like the devils and ruling upon this world as it is already heading into chaos and this way they could do anything they want. However, Denji in response tells her that he still cares about humans or at least about Asa Mitaka.
When Nayuta asks why Denji cares about Asa, the latter responds by saying that she was the only perfect kiss he has had as a bunch of other kisses that he had before always led to something terrible. Denji also admits that he likes Asa when Nayuta asks him but in comparison, he tells Nayuta that he likes her more, and thus, Nayuta tells her that she won’t kill humans anymore and they head home.
