Now that the Chainsaw Man anime has finished airing, fans are already switching up to the manga series of Chainsaw Man which is way ahead of the anime and the latest chapter of the series gives fans nostalgia for the previous characters of the series.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 116 Full Summary And Scans
Chainsaw Man Chapter 116 is titled “Taste of Starfish” and sees Denji and Asa picking up the edible starfish to eat as the latter suggests in the last chapter. While they are picking up the edible starfishes to eat, Yoshida is disgusted by their attempt to eat the starfishes.
Asa is nervous about eating starfish but Denji says that since she can’t eat fish there is no other way than eating starfish. Asa then says that they must first boil the starfish as they are toxic and Denji prepared a pot to boil them. While the starfishes are boiling, Asa wonders why there are so many hats gathered at the place.
Denji says that he gathered the hats to sell them after they get out of the aquarium. Asa asks why Denji is so obsessed with making money. Denji responds that he has sort of a friend or a sister who is smart and he intends to give her a normal life since he couldn’t have one.
Asa Reminds Denji Of Power
Chainsaw Man Chapter 116 then sees Denji and Asa eating Starfishes where the former says that it tastes like a gross sea urchin whereas the latter says that it is not enough. Asa notices the dried fish in the room as well and encourages herself to eat them.

Watching Asa forcing herself to eat dried fish makes Denji laughs and he says she is fun. He further enunciates that what Asa says is totally boring but she is interesting to look at. Asa gets a superior complexity upon hearing those words and she starts acting eccentric. Denji says that he likes this attitude of her and it reminds her of an old friend.
Asa’s Plan to Getting Out of the Aquarium
Asa then tells Denji that she has a way out of the aquarium and that is by collecting the money. Chainsaw Man Chapter 116 then sees Denji and Asa roaming around the aquarium gathering money from the bags and wallets. They both end up gathering a total of a million yen.
Denji asks what is next and thus Asa says that he should give all the money to her. The former is obviously not happy upon hearing and says he won’t it all to her even on her life but instantly gives it all when Asa says that she will fulfill any of Denji’s requests when they are out of there.
Since then, Denji starts acting towards Asa as he did with Makima and follows all of her orders when Asa tells him to over to another corner and close his eyes. Asa buys the aquarium with the million yen and as crazy as the logic seems to her, she orders to transform the aquarium into a spear using the war devil’s power.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 117 will likely be continuing with the current event and if transforming the aquarium is the correct choice for getting out of the trap then Asa might not try to kill Denji at all.
