Why CBS had to take a setback from its schedule of 2023.
Due to the changes in the entertainment environment due to the streaming, the writers and actors had to go on strike. The strike of the writers ended in September 2023 when they received an email from the WGA members for a tentative agreement with AMPTP.
The strike of the actors lasted till 9 November 2023. They received an email on 4 November from AMPTP, which they had considered, and after some negotiations, the strike has come to an end.
Seeing the strike being over as an opportunity, CBS Network announced the premiere of all its shows, which had to be rescheduled in 2023 due to the strike, will premiere in February 2024. Along with NCIS and FBI, viewers will also get to watch Young Sheldon’s 7th season. Survivor and The Amazing Race are also confirmed to be resumed.
