Previously in the manhwa, Luke reminisces about her childhood where she was thrown out of the Credi Tribe after her mother fell sick. Luke was left alone in the desert to fend for herself which fueled her anger even more. The loss made her want to protect the ones she love even further. Luke encounters a sorcerer all of a sudden when she was fighting intruders who delivers her some peculiar news about her mother who had now woken up.

Luke tells the sorcerer that that her mother isn’t someone who uses others to achieve her goals and that if she wanted to meet Luke, she would just come herself. Luke is angered at the sorcerer and tells him that he should keep his mother’s name out of his mouth.
