Former Bachelor contestant Carly Waddell has taken the leap to introduce her new flame, Todd Allen Tressler, to the public eye. Reflecting on their first encounter, Waddell, 38, recounted stumbling upon Tressler during a midday news interview last year.
Despite the TV being on mute, Waddell was captivated by his demeanour and charming smile, prompting her to take notice. She was particularly struck by his deep southern voice, which left a lasting impression.
The mother of two, sharing Charlie, 3, and Bella, 5, with ex-husband Evan Bass, found herself unable to shake thoughts of Tressler after their initial encounter.
Eventually, fueled by curiosity, she took the bold step of reaching out to him via social media, overcoming her initial apprehension. Tressler, unfamiliar with The Bachelor franchise, initially questioned if he was being pranked by friends upon receiving Waddell’s message.
However, after perusing her profile and seeing her interactions with her children, he was intrigued. Their initial exchanges led to a phone call, setting the stage for their first date.
Though their connection was immediate and undeniable, Waddell opted to keep Tressler off her social media initially to allow for a more organic bond to form between him and her children.
In a candid moment on “The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast,” Waddell gushed about Tressler, describing him as everything she has ever desired in a partner, emphasizing his maturity and compatibility with her values.
