Recap
The first half continued in the Captain Tsubasa Season 2 Episode 10 and the majority of the first half showcased Italy toying with Japan using their defense skill. The Italian had marked Tsuabasa for the majority of the first half after realizing that he had the potential to break their defense and thus their target was Tsubasa.
This resulted in the Japan team not even being able to coordinate with the titular protagonist. Even though there were openings here and there, there was something else waiting for the Japanese players and it was the goalkeeper Zino who had not allowed goals to get past him for over a year now.
They understood how amazing Zino was as no matter how much they tried, Zino did not let the ball get past him at all. To make matters worse for Japan, Italy had scored the first goal of the match and thus the former got desperate to catch up and this resulted in the team making harsh and bad decisions together.
Misaki was also desperate to get a goal for the team but as said earlier, even his desperation added to the team falling apart and the match turning out to be on Italians for good.
