Capcom has officially revealed a new crossover event that unites two of its most successful gaming franchises. Resident Evil Survival Unit, the free-to-play mobile strategy game, will host a Monster Hunter collaboration beginning July 2, giving players access to exclusive themed content and limited-time rewards inspired by the long-running action RPG series.
The collaboration will run until July 29, making it available for just under a month. To celebrate the announcement, Capcom also released a teaser trailer showcasing the upcoming crossover, offering players a first look at the event ahead of its launch.
Crossovers have become increasingly common across Capcom’s live-service titles, and this latest event continues that trend by bringing Monster Hunter-inspired content into the survival strategy experience of Resident Evil Survival Unit.

According to Capcom, players will be able to participate in the crossover event from July 2 through July 29. During the event, players can unlock a variety of exclusive in-game rewards themed around Monster Hunter.
While the publisher has yet to reveal the complete list of rewards or gameplay additions, the announcement confirms that the event will introduce Monster Hunter-inspired elements into Resident Evil Survival Unit’s world for a limited time.
Capcom accompanied the announcement with a short teaser trailer, giving fans an early glimpse of what to expect when the collaboration goes live.
The crossover pairs two of Capcom’s most recognizable series. Resident Evil, which debuted in 1996, has become one of gaming’s defining survival horror franchises, while Monster Hunter, first released in 2004, remains one of Capcom’s flagship action RPG series known for its cooperative monster-hunting gameplay.

Resident Evil Survival Unit represents a different take on the survival horror universe. Developed as a free-to-play mobile strategy game, it launched in November 2025 for iOS and Android devices and is currently available in 176 countries worldwide.
The collaboration also arrives during a strong period for the Resident Evil franchise. Following the recent launch of Resident Evil Requiem, Capcom continues expanding the series across multiple platforms while supporting its mobile titles with crossover events and live-service updates.
