A new action and crime dramedy is going to debut on the small screen, Cannes Confidential starring Lucie Lucas and Jamie Bamber is going to take us to solve mysteries and crimes in the beautiful Cote D’Azur in France. An odd duo of a strong police officer and a former counterfeiter will have to team up under funny and unusual circumstances to trace the bad guys and bring them to justice.

Cannes Confidential takes us to France’s Cote D’Azur, a place normally associated with the popular and posh Cannes Film Festival, the rich and famous. But in Cannes Confidential, Lucie Lucas plays Camille Delmasse, a female police officer tasked with investigating murders and organized crime, who suddenly must team up with Jamie Bamber’s character Harry King, a conman and high-profile counterfeiter who gets offered a deal after being picked up by the authorities under some financial shenanigans charges.
Together, they make the odd couple and must join efforts, setting their differences aside to solve the murder cases that in each episode we’ll see them track and put the bad guys in jail. Both Camille and Harry have a long-story arc that gives way for long-term character story development that coupled with the police procedural aspects of the show will keep viewers coming back for more. This is the kind of show that fans of series like The Blacklist, CSI and similars will enjoy, as it delivers the story in a very fancy setting.
