Three high school students with an adult from Japan form a group, and one day, they are transported to a whole new world, known as the Kingdom of Reijseger, to help them defeat the demon folk in a war that has the potential to destroy their place as a whole.
As they are summoned to the land, the three high schoolers find out that they have powerful magical abilities, which make them heroes for the people of the Kingdom. However, the adult who was just a salesman was still very ordinary and only had his Online Supermarket powers.
He doesn’t trust the Kingdom and thinks that they are just using them and has a bigger motive behind all this. So, to keep his distance and keep a look at the Kingdom, he convinces everyone that he is pretty much useless to them and continues to live a very ordinary life in the new Kingdom.
As he starts to adjust to the new environment, he finds out that because of his Online Supermarket skills, he can order almost every food from Japan online. During this online quest for food, he meets a beast named “Fenrir,” who asks him to feed them a meal.
After repeated meals, the Fenrir, who finally changed their name to Fel, began to enjoy Mukohda’s food and coerced him into signing a known contract. Other creatures and gods from the Divine Realm that Mukohda meets on his trip also give him acquainted agreements and graces so that he can get his meals and strange items.
Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Episode 5 Recap: “The Goddess of Wind Has a Sweet Tooth”
Mukohda piques Ninrir’s interest. For Mukohda to prepare fish, Fel asks that they take a break by a lake. A slime monster that can eat anything and everything is found by Mukohda, and it conveniently eats the container his online purchases came in.
The Slime loves Mukohda, as revealed by Fel, and this, for such a basic creature, qualifies as a Contract. Sui, who Mukohda gives the name, quickly levels up if he is given real food.
Sui is competent enough to do the dishes once Mukohda has taught him not to eat with his forks and spoons. Ninrir delivers Fel a Revalation in which she offers to boost Mukohda’s magic and damage tolerance in return for a weekly delivery of sweets. The gift is given to Mukohda after she offers delicious buns as an offering.
The adolescent goddess Ninrir, who has an extreme sweet tooth, eats the pastries in the meantime and starts delivering Mukohda Discoveries every several days that are essentially lists of treats she wants and fits of rage when he attempts to uphold their agreement of one sacrifice each week. Despite the blessing, Fel is unimpressed with Mukohda’s development in battle magic and transports him to a unique location where his skills should advance quickly.
