Call Me The Devil follows the life of Hyeonshin, who is a demon living in the mortal world. Demons like Hyeonshin feeds on humans’ desire and ego to live, and by occupation as a plastic surgeon, Hyeonshin is able to live well, but he has one worry, and that is Hyeonshin is repulsed by blood.
A demon who is repulsed by the presence of blood is something unheard of, but this happened, and to make matters, Hyeonshin is a Lucifer, a demon who is obsessed with pride and repulsion against blood, is making Hyeonshin self-doubt and shattering his self-pride, slowing dying.
To get a change of pace from the mental problems Hyeonshin was facing, he decided to take the subway and especially sitting in the middle-class compartment to mingle with the crowds and feed on their ego.
This led Hyeonshin to face a surprising incident, and that is for the first time, Hyeonshin met a person who had no ego or ulterior motives and with pure eyes. Hyeonshin felt healed by the sight of this person and even temporarily fixed his blood repulsion, and thus Hyeonshin tries to approach this woman to make a devil’s deal.

In the previous chapter of Call Me The Devil, when Joo Lee Na comes to the hospital to get breast enlargement surgery, she meets with Hyeonshin, who is the best plastic surgeon in Seoul.
Joo Lee Na was surprised at first because it would usually take months to book surgery with the “best plastic surgeon,” and her appointment for a meeting with the doctor was instantly approved. Joo Lee Na meets with Hyeonshin, and their conversation ends up in a surprising way.
Hyeonshin realizes that Joo Lee Na has the mysterious ability to heal his blood repulsion, and knowing this, he tries to get information out of Joo Lee Na’s personal life, but she denies it, and to this Hyeonshin quickly dismisses her saying his schedule is busy and latest he can do the plastic surgery for her is after a year. Joo Lee Na hearing him called him “petty” and walked out of the hospital.
In the upcoming chapters, Joo Lee Na to comes back to the hospital to meet with Hyeonshin and we can surely expect Hyeonshin to make a compromise for the surgery, in exchange for a devil’s deal.
