Call Me Kat Season 3 Plot
The plot of this popular sitcom features the title character Kat, who is a fun-loving and optimistic woman finding joy in consistently refuting societal norms and expectations, as well as her mother’s desires to demonstrate that she can live a happy and rewarding life on her own terms.
As the first step in this direction, she uses her life’s savings to open a lively cat café in Louisville, Ky, where she seems most likely to be in her element. Kat works along with her friends Phil, the café’s resident baker dipped in Southern flair, and Randi, a bold, aspiring artist.

Across from her is a local piano bar which is run by Carter, a cool, down-to-earth young man who owns the favorite watering hole of the gang, where Max, Kat’s best friend from college, happens to sling drinks, all while charming the patrons.
Meanwhile, Kat’s mother, Sheila, often a thorn in her side, goes out of her way to keep track of the romantic life of her daughter. It is almost every day that Kat finds herself in the middle of a dilemma, but she handles them as gracefully as she does anything else, finding humor, joy, and positivity in them all.
In its third installment, Call Me Kat is set a few years after the opening of the cat café when Kat decides that she needs some time away from her daily life for a reset. And after some months of traveling around the globe, Kat comes back feeling ready and refreshed to discover what she wanted out of life.
The main theme in the new season of the sitcom is whether Kat’s future will see her becoming a mother. In the time she was away, her café was kept afloat by Phil and Randi, who had decided to give the place a slight makeover.
Randi is still dating Carter as of the third season, but her complete devotion to her work seems to be straining the couple’s relationship, while newly single and proudly gay head baker Phil opens up to the idea of romance in his life. Max is back from his tour in Nashville pursuing his music career, but he has not returned empty-handed.
Max brings cowboy boots and a massive ego to match them in the game, and Kat might have swooned. Moreover, Sheila has returned stronger despite all the struggles associated with aging, and she packs the most graceful southern flair with it!
