Fans of Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa’s Bungo Stray Dogs have something to look forward to this July.

On July 16, 2026, Crunchyroll premiered the English dub of Bungo Stray Dogs WAN!, bringing back the franchise’s fun-filled chibi spin-off. The first dubbed episode is now available to stream, featuring a new English dubbing team led by director Kirstie Simone with adaptation by Seth Walker.
A Lighter Side of the Armed Detective Agency
Bungo Stray Dogs WAN! Season 2 focuses on comedy instead of intense supernatural battles. The spin-off keeps the same fan-favorite characters from the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia but presents them in adorable chibi form. Their everyday adventures replace high-stakes conflicts with fun and lighthearted moments.
Rather than fighting powerful enemies, the characters find themselves dealing with awkward situations, funny misunderstandings, and ordinary daily life. From visits to public bathhouses to embarrassing workplace moments, the series highlights a playful side that rarely appears in the main story.
The comedy stays true to the personalities, making the spin-off enjoyable for both longtime viewers and newcomers. It offers a refreshing break from the action while keeping the charm of the original cast intact.
