The event will take place from July 2 to July 5 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, bringing together fans for exclusive panels, immersive exhibits, limited merchandise, and special anniversary content.
A Milestone Celebration for Three Major Anime Franchises
Anime Expo 2026 will serve as a landmark moment for KADOKAWA as it celebrates a decade of its globally successful anime titles. The company is hosting large-scale exhibits dedicated to Re:ZERO, KONOSUBA, and Bungo Stray Dogs, giving fans the opportunity to step into themed spaces inspired by each series.
Attendees can explore interactive displays and take photos at specially designed walls featuring their favorite characters, turning the booth into a central hub for anniversary celebrations. This focus on fan interaction highlights how these series have grown into cultural staples over the past ten years.
The highlight of the celebration is the “KADOKAWA Anime 10th Anniversary Panel,” scheduled for July 3. This special event will bring together producers from all three franchises, offering behind-the-scenes insights and discussions about the future of these series.
The panel will feature Sho Tanaka (Re:ZERO), Rie Ogura (KONOSUBA), and Chiaki Kurakane (Bungo Stray Dogs), making it a rare opportunity for fans to hear directly from the creative forces behind these titles.

In addition to discussions, the panel will include exclusive content, including the highly anticipated premiere of Re:ZERO Season 4 Episode 1, making it one of the most talked-about sessions at the convention.

As part of the 10th anniversary celebration, KADOKAWA has also created a unique crossover visual featuring protagonists from all three series alongside mascots from Crunchyroll.
This artwork symbolizes a decade of storytelling, bringing together Subaru and Emilia, Kazuma and Aqua, and Atsushi and Dazai in a single commemorative design. The visual will be displayed throughout the venue and included in limited-edition items available only during the event.
Fans attending the anniversary panel will receive a special uchiwa fan featuring this artwork, while additional displays will be showcased across the convention center as large-scale banners.
Booth Activities, Cosplay, and Merchandise Highlights
KADOKAWA’s booth (#SH-2720) will offer more than just displays, with a packed schedule of activities designed to engage attendees. A major highlight is the appearance of cosplayer Sou Aono, who will portray Aqua from KONOSUBA during dedicated photo sessions. Visitors will also receive exclusive commemorative postcards as part of the experience.
The booth will also feature early-release merchandise, including figures, model kits, and collectibles from multiple anime titles. Fans who purchase items related to the three anniversary series will receive special bonus gifts, further tying the shopping experience into the broader celebration.
