The wait for fans is finally over as Mnet has confirmed the lineup of Queendom 2! Queendom is a show by Mnet in which some of the leading female figures of the Kpop industry compete to win the crown. The first season of Queendom took place in 2019 in which a magnificent competition between the queens of Kpop Mamamoo, Oh My Girl, (G)I-dle, Park Bom, AOA, and Lovelyz while the show was hosted by MCs Lee Da Hee and Jang Sung Kyu. The vocal queens Mamamoo had trapped the finale prize in the finale, and the starters of the Dophin cult Oh My Girl placed second. Fans loved to see the wholesome interactions between the groups and, of course, to see their splendid performances.
In 2021, Mnet had aired the male version of the show Kingdom: Legendary War consisting of Stray Kids (winners), iKON, BtoB, SF9, The Boyz, and Ateez. Recently, Mnet had announced that Queendom would be coming back with a second season with a mysterious poster. Ever since then, fans have been theorizing who might be the contestants of the show this time. Groups like IVE, ITZY, AESPA, VIVIZ, KEP1ER, and more had come to fans’ minds. However, the wait is finally over as the channel has finally announced the lineup of Queendom 2!
The Stunning Lineup Of Queendom 2
Mnet had finally dropped the bomb and said that these groups had continually topped music charts and had great versatility and concepts. This time Queendom 2 will have Girl’s Generation’s Taeyeon as the MC and will premiere its first episode on March 31 at 9:20 PM KST. Let us reveal the contestants in alphabetical order!
Brave Girls
First off are the rising girl group Brave Girls! Brave Girls had a miraculous year last year. Their song RollinRollin became a summer bop and brought popularity to the group, saving them from disbandment. Since then, the sky has been the limit for the members Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna as they keep setting new heights for themselves!

Hyolyn
Hyolyn is the only female soloist in the lineup of Queendom 2. After gaining popularity as a sensational member of Sistar, Hyolyn went on to make one of the most shining solo careers. She is now a songwriter who also has her own company Bridʒ. She had us all swooning for her in her latest comeback Layin Low. Now that you think of it, it isn’t much surprise that the soloist had been announced as one of the contestants of the second season of the show!

Kep1er
Kep1er is one of the newest yet most popular groups right now! The monster rookies have been eating up the world and are leaving no crumbs. After the formation of the official lineup on the survival program Girls Planet 999, the girls went ahead to make their much-awaited debut with extended play First Impact. Many people had thought that the group would not be selected for the lineup as they had debuted very recently. However, their popularity had to disagree.

LOONA
LOONA is undoubtedly one of the most well-known groups ever! Consisting of 12 members, the girls are known for their satisfying synchronization while dancing and amazing songs. Lastly, WJSN, aka Cosmic Girls, is part of the lineup of Queendom 2. The girls consist of thirteen members who had debuted in 2016 and are still going strong. On January 5, Cosmic Girls had made their comeback with their second album, Supper Yuppers!
