Boys Planet, a follow-up to Girls Planet 999, which debuted in 2021, premiered its first episode on February 12, 2023, and is scheduled to run for a total of 12 episodes. Synopsis

Boys Planet highlights the potential of aspiring young boys who dream of becoming idols all around the world. When the K-Group (South Korean Group) and G-Group (Global Group) worlds collide, “ONE WORLD” is born.

Featuring participation across the world, including Japan, China, the United States, and many others, the K-Pop Boy Group audition is exclusively selected and established by the Korean and global fans, giving them total control over which group advances forward.

Korean and foreign K-Pop fans support and encourage the trainees with their whole heart as they witness their charm and potential, in hopes of letting them shine and aid their fellow trainees in making their ideal debut in the K-pop industry.

The trainees will face a variety of difficulties, and as the show progresses, they will compete to win the public’s support in hopes of maintaining their positions at the top. The contenders who don’t perform well enough will be eliminated.

Fortunately, a team of trained mentors will be there to provide the necessary guidance and encouragement that the trainees require, so they won’t be all alone in their journey.

Boys Planet Judges

Boys Planet provides its trainees with mentors in each area to help with their improvement. In addition to the mentors, the Star Masters include Hwang Min Hyun, Yeo Jin Goo, and Sunmi.

The performances put on by these trainees are then judged by the entire panel as a whole.

Lee Sun Mi

Popular K-pop singer Lee Sun-Mi, often known as Sunmi, has been active in the industry for a long time. Sunmi, a former member of the Wonder Girls, marked her debut as a solo artist in 2013. Since then, Sunmi has gained much recognition with the release of her 2017 single “Gashina”, which became an instant hit worldwide.

Hwang Min Hyun

As a former member of the K-pop boy bands NU’EST and Wanna One, Min Hyun is well known in the industry . On February 27,2023, Min Hyun, who is currently signed to Pledis Entertainment, released his first solo albumtitled ‘Truth or Lie’.

Yeo Jin Goo

South Korean actor Yeo Jin Goo, the final Star Master of Boys Planet, is well known for his roles in “Hotel De Luna” with IU. In addition to receiving much critical acclaim for his acting in “Hwayi: A Monster Boy,” Jin Goo made his acting debut in that very series as a child.
