Synopsis
Boys Planet showcases the potential of young men everywhere. ‘ONE WORLD’ is created when the K-Group (South Korean Group) and G-Group (Global Group) worlds converge. With participants coming from all across the world – Japan, Chins, USA and many more, the K-Pop Boy Group audition is chosen and created exclusively by Korean and international fans, making them in complete control of deciding which group progresses further.
Discovering the charm and potential of the trainees from all over the world, Korean and international K-Pop fans should encourage and support them so they can shine and help the boys have their dream debut in the K-pop industry.
The trainees will be put to the test in a series of challenges, and as the show goes on, they will strive to garner public votes in order to maintain their positions at the top. The contestants who don’t perform well enough will be disqualified. But luckily, the trainees won’t be left alone – a group of mentors, will be with them to offer the essential help and guidance that they will be needing.

Brief Recap of BOYS PLANET Episode 5
Episode 5 of the variety show featured the first ranking ceremony, which also revealed the first eliminations. Only 52 out of 93 trainees proceeded to the next round in this first official announcement of the top nine contenders.
Star Master Yeo Jin Goo revealed the results and mentioned that 176 countries took part in the first “Boys Planet” global poll, which led to the final result. In addition to the big reward of being one of the final top nine young people to be accepted into the debut group, Yeo Jin Goo also stated that the trainee who ranked first overall will earn the “killing part” in the group’s debut song and a solo song on their debut album.
