Nijika greeted Kita’s mom with a smile and introduced herself as the leader of the Kessoku band. They formed the band one and a half years ago and performed at this venue twice a month. The shows were usually funded through a pay-to-play system and related stuff, and recently their business had been in the black.
They planned to put more effort into their merchandise sales and showed her the earnings table. But she was not worried about the girls, except for their guitarist, Gotoh. She had heard some less-than-ideal things about her and was worried about her bad influence would affect Kita.
As the conversation went on, a crowd started to gather. It looked as if the Kessoku band had a lot of fans. Kita’s dad suggested getting their autographs while they still could.
The turnout was the result of the Kessoku band’s hard work. Next year was an important one for the band, and with that, they began their last show of the year.
In the end, they made an announcement. They will be releasing multiple singles next year, and if they sell well, they will release a mini-album. After all that was over, the crew talked amongst themselves, complimenting each other for the great performance.
