What is the plot of Bocchi the Rock!?

Bocchi the Rock follows the female lead named Hitori Gotō. She has the “I” (introvert) level of her MBTI to the max. Because of her introverted ness, she a; always has difficulty approaching her acquaintances and making friends. To get over this problem she makes up her mind to make friends and for that to happen she starts to learn how to play the guitar but that still does not help to get over her difficulty of making friends. She has only two dreams, to make friends and to become a rock musician. She begins publishing her covers online and becomes decently popular. She is also given a chance to perform at an underground performance live along with her other newfound bandmate friends. Even though she struggles during the performance and is disappointed with her skills, she is nicknamed Bocchi.

In this chapter, Hitori Gotō along with her friends goes to attend a concert that has bands playing live for them. We also find that Hitori’s dad was once in a band and he also performs at this concert. After this, there are several other performances, including their manager’s performance which they, along with the crowd thoroughly enjoy. After watching all the performances, it was their turn to perform on stage.

So they go on and change into Christmas-themed costumes like reindeer, wearing a Santa Claus hat and then they begin their performance. After they are done with their performance. They head back to celebrate their elder sister’s birthday and there are several gifts to make the celebration more memorable. They give each other gifts like heated eye-mask, aroma diffusers, and other items. After they are done giving the gits, they clean up and pack everything up. The scene cuts to their performances, and she is not happy with her skills and performs nervously in from of the crowd. She then ends her performance by giving her gratitude to everyone she knows.

She does not miss out on a single name, and her friends are a bit embarrassed by this situation. After this, they wish each other a very happy new year and head their ways and promise to practice the next day. After this, Kita confesses to them, that she ran away from home.
