Blue Box Chapter 88 – Recap
Blue Box Chapter 88 continues with the conversation between Yumeka and Taiki regarding Chinatsu. Taiki argues that Chinatsu is doing her best and she is determined to be the best the in the nation. However, Yumeka replies that she isn’t practicing as much as she used to and if she is playing around then her determination is lacking.
Taiki realizes that Yumeka isn’t taunting Chinatsu’s dreams but she is worried for her. Thus she is being a strict friend to get her even more motivated. He decides that these two must get along again to be better and stronger. The next morning Taiki heads to the gymnasium to grab a lunch box for Chinatsu who left early for practice.
At the gymnasium, we see that the tension between Hina and Taiki is still different and Hina’s friend even taunts Taiki saying that he does not have any effect on Hina’s life. Meanwhile, the training for the tournament continues and we see that after a round of practice, Chinatsu encourages and give advice to Yuna on how she could be more confident and could take the shots that she wanted.
Yuna burst out saying that she isn’t as good as Chinatsu and immediately apologizes. The latter instead asks her if she wanted to practice extra, she could join her anytime she wanted. At the end of the chapter, we see that Yumeka comes into the gymnasium after Chinatsu and compliments her which makes the latter happy.
