Blue Box Chapter 116 will see Taiki going up against Kishi in his next badminton match. Taiki has been winning matches one by one, but it didn’t satisfy him. He was eager to play against Yusa, but when he came to the stadium, he found out Yusa wouldn’t be playing.
Yusa got an offer to play abroad, so he didn’t participate in the regional tournament. One would be happy to see a tough competitor backing down like that, but it is the same with Taiki. He doesn’t want to play a match, where he can’t have fun playing.
I feel like since it was last minute, Yusa definitely was unsure about going because he wanted a rematch with Taiki, but in the end, he decided to prioritize the experience abroad over a regional tournament. I’ve seen and read so many sports anime/manga to know where this is going.
Now that the regional tournament has started, the story is getting a bit more interesting. Instead of showing us every match, they showed us highlights of it, which is good.
Now, Taiki has to face Kishi in the next round, and Mochizuki will definitely watch their match.
And if you are wondering when the next chapter of the sports manga, Blue Box, will be released, then do not worry because, in this article, we will talk about the release date of Blue Box Chapter 116 with spoilers and where you can read it.
Blue Box Chapter 115 Recap
The chapter starts with Taiki going to Saitama High School’s first-year badminton tournament. There were only two slots for the summer national singles tournament. The obvious candidates were Haryu and Sajikawa Yusa. To even get a shot at those slots was the least Taiki could do at that tournament for a first-year win.
However, after getting inside the school, Taiki finds out that Yasu isn’t participating in the tournament. Seems like Sajikawa’s top players went on a trip to play abroad, and Yasu got selected from the first year.
Taiki was disappointed after hearing that, as if all the training he did for defeating Yasu was for nothing.
All he wanted was to play a match with Yasu. However, that didn’t stop him from winning the matches. He won three matches in a row, and his next opponent was Kishi. After looking at Taiki, Kishi got a feeling that he might not win against Taiki since he felt a different aura from Taiki.
Blue Box Chapter 116 Spoilers
In the next chapter, we will see Taiki and Kishi’s badminton match. Unlike other matches, we will get to see the full match instead of the highlight. The recent chapter has made it clear that Mochizuki will be the final player, who Taiki will face. He seems too much confident in himself. I want to see the look on his face when he gets defeated by Taiki.
