Yan will have the Commander Instructor speechless as he uses the mystic art of begging and pleading for help. The Commander instructor had taken a liking to him due to his recent actions, as he suspected there was something about him. However, he will be dealing with an odd side of Yan in Bloodhound’s Regression Instinct Chapter 13.
Ever since Yan had regressed in the fantasy world, all he wanted was to escape from the place and be free. He had come up with an escape plan but was abrupted when one of his injured fellow trainees suspected him. When Yan was about to escape, the said trainee, Roman, sought him out and told Yan to wait till the injured trainee recuperated.
Yan agreed to the request begrudgingly, as he didn’t want to be sold out and later hounded down. However, with Roman also comes the responsibility of looking after him and making sure he doesn’t have an accident. This wasn’t easy to do since the emperor had deemed Roman worthless and even tried to kill him at one point.
Things become a lot more complicated when an ice-cold princess gets her eyes on him, and another trainee joins them in escaping.
Spoilers
Bloodhound’s Regression Instinct Chapter 13 will show Yan’s perfect judgment skill to awe the Commander instructor. Yan has many cards up his sleeve, but none of them would work with one of the strongest swordsmen in the world. He could but do just one thing, and he knows to do it in the most effective possible, plead before his superior.
As for the appearance of the Commander Instructor, Yan was honestly surprised to see the man appear before him. His future memories made note of how he wasn’t supposed to return from the capital and even caused trouble that almost had him hanged. However, that event never came to pass, as Yan’s actions changed the future.
While Yan would be ecstatic about the change in the future, he had no idea which of his actions caused such deviations. He rummaged through his memories but found no one point that could have such change. But that didn’t matter, all that mattered was he needed to get out of the situation unscathed.
Killing the commander was out of the question, as his aura alone made him intimidating, but pleading his merciful side was a different matter.
Recap
Bloodhound’s Regression Instinct Chapter 12 starts the action series with Yan being annoyed by the recent developments in their escape. He was angry at his foolishness for this development, but there was nothing that he could do about it.
Yan decided it was better to leave them be as they would be useful in the future at one point. As he thought of this, he decided to get out of the place, only to sense a hunter approaching him.
It wasn’t a beast or an unknown anomaly. It was someone he had known for a while, Commander Instructor. Commander Instructor had had his eyes on the protagonist for a while now, and he expected great results from Yan.
The reason for that was simple, he had an eye for quality, something like an intuition to pick out talent. And Yan, Trainee Soldier no.974, had shown himself to be the cream of the crop that appeared out of nowhere. And seeing how little he thought of the training soldier, Yan appeared to be more shining than all the others present in the group.
