Billboard Japan revealed its highly anticipated mid-year rankings for 2024 on June 7, showcasing the top-performing songs from November 27, 2023, to May 26, 2024. Leading the charge on the “Billboard JAPAN Hot 100” chart is “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born,” the 14th digital single by Japanese hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts.

This track gained prominence as the opening theme for the second season of the anime MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES, marking a significant achievement for the duo.

This song made history by topping 13 different charts simultaneously, a first for Billboard Japan.

Among these were the “Global Japan Songs Excl. Japan” chart, which highlights Japanese songs that have become hits globally, and the “Billboard JAPAN Hot Animation” chart, which focuses on theme songs for anime and movies, as well as tracks by anime voice actors.
