While Ron had just joined the Colorado Springs Police Department, he became the first-ever African-American officer to join the force. While wanting to catch a big fish straight from the beginning, Ron Stallworth decides to go after the known and meticulous Ku Klux Klan.
Later in the process, the detective teams up with new investigators to get better at investigating the Klan. Recruits Flip Zimmerman, and together, the officers go on the venture to get rid of the Ku Klux Klan by exposing and invading them. But now let’s talk about where the movie BlacKkKlansman was filmed.

Ossining, New York, United States
The setting for the movie BlacKkKlansman was selected by the talented designer Curt Beech. Several scenes were shot in the location of Ossining village, New York. The location provided a number of scenes for the movie, including a scene where we see the appearance of the actress Ashlie Atkinson.
Ashlie Atkinson plays the role of Connie Kendrickson, wife of the main leader of the Ku Klux Klan. The scene was shot on 90 Broadway, Ossining, New York, United States. In the following scene, we see Connie Kendrickson planning to get down a big blow while she sets a bomb in front of Partice’s house’s front door.
The Location of Ossining was decided to be used in the film BlacKkKlansman by designer Curt Beech because of the subtle structure of the village, which gives a foggy appearance to several shots. The Ossining village borders the widest part of the Hudson River, creating wide exposure for a scenic shot.
Other scenes shot in the location of Ossining village, New York, include the scene where we see the characters Ron and Patrice. The scene of the conversation discussing what they could change in the current situation was also shot in the location of 90 Broadway, Ossining, New York.
Main Street & Spring Street, Ossining, New York, USA:
Main Street & Spring Street is a main circle which includes lots of shops and directing roads. It is a base for several buildings and stores.
The location was used in the movie due to its surroundings of several brick buildings and numerous streets. It appeared in the movie BlacKkKlansman in a shot where we saw the main character, Ron Stallworth, as he saw a sign showing an invitation to join the police department of Colorado.
While most of the movie was said to be shot fictionally in Colorado Springs, the actual filming took place mostly in New York, USA, Ossining, and nearby locations, including this earlier scene of Ron seeing the invitation sign for police recruitment. Several scenes were shot in nearby locations, which include 90 Broadway, Ossining, New York, and Sing Sing Kill Greenway, Ossining, New York.
Broadway and Brandreth Street, Ossining, New York, United States:
The director, Spike Lee, moved into the area along with the production team scouting the location. The location gave room for a number of scenes, which include the location of The Brar’s Restaurant; the restaurant is owned by a person named George Paganis. During the beginning of filming in the restaurant, it was said a large number of bikes and vintage cars were seen standing outside the Brar’s Restaurant.
The location of the restaurant was used in the movie with a different name and was set up as “Pike’s Lodge Chop House” for the movie BlacKkKlansman. It was said that the crew used the location for some scenes and then later moved out after a few hours of filming in the restaurant. Several other teams were seen shooting in the same area.
