Black Clover Season 2 has revealed its new opening and ending theme songs as the anime continues its long-awaited return. WANIMA performs the opening theme “Kienai Riyuu,” while eight-member boy group ONE OR EIGHT provides the ending theme “Yellow Brick Road.” The official anime website has also released the full non-credit opening and ending sequences online.
The second season began airing in Japan on October 3, 2026, with new episodes continuing weekly. Crunchyroll is streaming Black Clover Season 2 internationally, including the Indian subcontinent, as part of its Fall 2026 anime lineup.
The new songs provide the musical backdrop for Asta, Yuno and the Magic Knights as they face the escalating threat of the Spade Kingdom and the Dark Triad.
WANIMA AND ONE OR EIGHT LEAD BLACK CLOVER SEASON 2’S MUSIC
WANIMA’s “Kienai Riyuu” serves as the opening theme, with KENTA credited for both lyrics and composition and WANIMA handling the arrangement. The Japanese rock trio was formed in 2010 and is known for its energetic sound.
Meanwhile, ONE OR EIGHT performs “Yellow Brick Road” for the ending sequence. The group explained that the song reflects Asta and his friends pushing through adversity while also connecting with the group’s own ambition to take on challenges and reach audiences worldwide.
The song was released digitally on October 7, shortly after the anime’s second season premiere.
The new season continues the story of Asta and the Magic Knights following the original anime’s 170-episode run, which concluded in 2021. Studio Pierrot has returned to produce the continuation, with Ayataka Tanemura directing after previously working on the original series and Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King.
The new episodes focus on the Magic Knights’ assault on the Spade Kingdom as they attempt to rescue their captains from the Dark Triad.
