In court documents obtained by People, Billy Ray states that Firerose threatened to ruin his career if he ended their marriage.

The documents also include an affidavit from Billy Ray’s manager, Scott Adkins, who claims to have witnessed the abuse. Firerose, 36, allegedly threatened to tell the public that Billy Ray wanted a divorce because she needed a double mastectomy.
Billy Ray, who shares six children with his ex-wife Tish Cyrus, also claims that Firerose did not disclose her BRCA1 gene mutation, which increases the risk of breast cancer, before their marriage. Firerose’s representative denies these allegations and accuses Billy Ray of using abusive tactics to distract from the real issues.
Billy Ray and Firerose’s relationship began when they met on the set of Hannah Montana. Their bond grew as they collaborated on music during the pandemic.
They announced their engagement in November 2022 and married in October 2023. Now, amid their divorce, both parties are making serious accusations against each other.
