Just like the show Beyond Paradise, where an innocent desire to have a quiet life and peaceful one turns into something that no one would have imagined.
Beyond Paradise is a British drama which is based on the genre of crime and legal drama. This very new show may sound a lot like other crime dramas but has been credited for its unique way of direction and storyline. The storyline may seem too simple at first but as the season progresses it brings out elements of complicated nature that can not keep a person hooked throughout but also make them question what will happen next and make them jot down the points one by one.
The show is created by Robert Thorogood and the mysterious crime drama stars Kris Marshall, Sally Bretton, Zahra Ahmadi and Jamie Bamber in the lead roles.

The premise and preview of the show
The show is set in a rural town on the countryside outskirts of Britain, a tropical and beautiful town located in Saint Marie named Devon. The town is known for its slow and easy lifestyle, quiet and tranquil environment and peaceful living. Attracted by this itself Humphrey Goodman and his fiancee decided to leave the hustle of city life and move into the town. Devon is a whole new experience for Goodman but not for his fiancee Matha Lloyd as it is her home town and she is aware of the people and lifestyle.

He takes up the job as the DI of the police as he enjoys the lousy and calm life there and both of them aim towards having their happily ever after in the place and enjoying their time together more. But this illusion of paradise is also broken as the town has a looming threat over their heads. A sudden and unexpected crime wave engulfs the whole town, making everyone scared for their lives.
This brings Humphrey to set his shoes and starts investigating the people and the reasons behind these crimes as he gets to know the hidden secrets of the town and its people. He is set on a mission to bring back peace to the town and restore its old charm and safety in no time.
Beyond Paradise Season 1 Episode 1 Release Date
The show is quite mysterious and quizzical in its nature as one might find themselves questioning at times, whodunit? One may go from one suspect to another in the assumption and hope to guess the criminal before the show concludes and this may be a thrilling experience for many.

The episode mainly entails the arrival of Goodman and his fiancee to her home in Devon as he tries to understand the functioning of the town and the people. He tries to impress Martha’s mother and the rest of her family in the process. Martha begins to look for places to start her own cafe and work.
He later reports for the first day at his work where he begins to derive observations about the people and their lifestyle here. He meets his new colleagues and creates a fairly positive impression on them as they interact and cross-question each other. He also meets DS Esther Williams and PC Kelby Hartford who will, later on, become his accompaniment in solving the cases.
He is struck by the first ever case that is one of the weirdest cases that he has ever encountered. He is reported of an assault by a person and the prime suspect seems to be no ordinary person but a 17th-century witch which confused Goodman to the core.
