So Help Me Todd: About The Show
Although Margaret Wright is a successful attorney, there’s something she always worries about. Her son, Todd Wright, has been having a hard time finding a place for himself in the corporate world. Her daughter, on the other hand, is a successful doctor and lives life according to her mom’s wishes. But not Todd. Even after his mom constantly forces him to join a normal 9 to 5 job, Todd wants something else.
Always having dreamed of being a Private investigator, Todd joins as a personal assistant for someone who ends up framing him for a crime. This causes Todd to lose his license to work as an investigator, much to his mom’s disappointment. Despite losing the license, Todd does his best to solve whatever case he gets.
When Margaret’s husband (Todd’s Stepfather) disappears one day, Todd manages to track him down while also providing Margaret clues about her case. Impressed with his abilities, she hires him as a temporary assistant. They work differently, as Margaret sticks to the rules while Todd prefers to twist them according to his needs.
