The fans of the series may be divided among how Damien acts towards Chloe and his responsibilities as the Duke. After announcing that Chloe is pregnant, fans have only one question in their mind and that is to know what reaction Damien will have.
The latest chapter was pretty straightforward as it saw how Damien himself had told about the passion of love that spreads to the summer festival and how he wanted to be engaged in the same.

As the summer festival begins, Damien tells her that the reason why so many people have birthdays very close to each other is due to the fact that most of their parents indulge in a romantic way during the summer festival as it is considered the most romantic time of the year.
Thus, everyone is passionate about it during this and thus, Damien also asks Chloe to be affected by passion. The latter agrees and thus, they start to dance in front of everyone. Chloe takes her shoes off as they are getting her way of dancing and apologizes to Damien for not dancing when she was asked at the Rose Castle.
But now, she is happy to dance and does not even stop dancing even when there is heavy rain. As they ride home and get to the home, Chloe and Damien engage in lovemaking very passionately. Three months pass and we see that Chloe is very happy to give news to Damien.
As Damien comes home, he has news of his own and before Chloe can give her news, the former announces that the King has died and not many people know about it. After this, he asks Chloe about what news she has to inform him, to which Chloe responds that she is pregnant.
