Begrudgingly Yours Chapter 2 will be released next week! This new and upcoming Manhwa has already gained much love from readers, as the plot revolves around the classic enemies-to-lovers storyline.
With its first chapter airing just this week on 22nd November 2023, readers are eager to find out what’s in store with the upcoming Chapter. Begrudgingly Yours opens with an introduction to the main characters – Helios, Enya, and Ogedei.
Helios was a Holy Knight who had sacrificed his dignity and power to behead the Demon Lord. However, the monarchy was unwilling to accept Helios’s new lifestyle and discarded his status, so he was disregarded by the rest of his people.
Enya, on the other hand, was an introverted Hexenkeeper. She coped in her lab with no social life until she was invited by Ogedei, the Crown Princess, to the Royal Palace. This invitation marked the beginning of Enya and Helios’ relationship with one another.
The two of them had their own struggles and past to take care of, but when the Crown Princess decided to team them up and send them to battles, things began to change. Though initially hating each other, they seem to bond over the hardships they had to endure.

Helios and Enya are currently in the demon world, fighting against an incubus. As their powers deplete severely and it’s time to go back, Helios asks Enya if she’s done with opening a portal. After defeating the demon, the two of them return back to their world through teleportation.
Enya tells Helios to let go of her but is still in a daze from their travel. Helios takes some time before snapping back to reality. Just when the two were arguing about who despised the other more, they were greeted by Ogedei, the Crown Princess.
She asks Enya and Helios for the report on their mission, and they tell her the incubus has been defeated. However, they were still under the spell of the demon, having reoccurring hallucinations, dizziness, and more.
Hearing this, Ogedei tells them what the incubus gave is not a mere spell but, in fact a curse. Enya is shocked to hear this but is quickly relieved when Ogedei tells them not to worry too much. They could easily undo the curse by sleeping with each other!
Since the Incubus’ curse relies on its satisfaction, the only way to satisfy it would be if those with the curse slept together. This news shocks both Helios and Enya as they are near arch-enemies. Ogedei orders them to complete this “mission” quickly.
Three months ago, Enya, who was also the Hexankeep of Morgenda, was invited to the Royal Ball by the Crown Princess. Though she is reluctant to go, her apprentice begs her, stating how they have no connections with the outside world.
Enya would sell potions to cure Erectile Dysfunction, and that would make her apprentice Lyla uneasy as they had to form a more noble clientele. She finally convinces Enya to step out of her lab and to dress more womanly, hoping also to find her master a suitable man to marry.
At the Ball, Enya is bored and sits outside to enjoy the fresh air. Just there, she meets Helios, the Holy Knight, who was possibly looking for an exit as well. Enya tells him the secret passage, but instead, Helios asks to join her and if she would be willing to share a drink.
