Bambaska Biri Episode 2 will be out soon. The show tells a tale about Leyla, a prosecutor, who returns to Istanbul, and her welcome is not very pleasant. She gets the charge of one of the most gruesome murders, the murder of Hamdi Atilbay in the woods. On the other hand is Kenan, a famous reporter. When the two meet, things take a drastic turn.

As an unexpected romance blooms between them, the revelations of people related to the murder and suspicion keep drawing a line between them. Both of them are flagbearers of justice, but when powerful people and the close ones are dragged in the path, misunderstandings are sure to bloom.

How will they manage to get through the challenges sticking to each other? Well, episode 1 was so much better than I expected. The bar this time is too high. Taking a step ahead of mere romance and crime dramas, let’s see how the show progresses and what we need to know about episode 2.

Bambaska Biri Episode 1 Recap

The episode begins with prosecutor Leyla talking to her friend about not coming to Istanbul. Someone starts knocking on the door, and she is surprised that Leyla is standing with a bouquet. They two start talking about her sudden arrival when Leyla gets a call. Meanwhile, we are introduced to journalist Kenan.

He goes on air with Mr. Mithat regarding the coal mine disaster that killed 42 people. He tricks him into confessing the negligence and carelessness of keeping the mic on after the show, which leads to the death of the workers, and it becomes a breaking news. The channel owner is not happy with Kenan’s decision, and he could not care any less.

He meets Leyla in the same restaurant, and the two instantly click. Kenan plays a game of guessing the number she is thinking of, and he is correct every time. This earns him a drink with her and a dance. Quickly, the show moves to the forest scenes where Kenan is killing the businessman Hamdi Atilbay.

Prosecutor Turan assigns the case to Leyla, who also questions her about her family. A brief scene introduces us to her brother in jail and her mother. In the next scene, we see the journalist coming out of a cold bath clueless when he gets a call about the killing of Hamdi Atilbay. This creates a mystery for the viewers.

A man appears as an eyewitness in front of Leyla, telling her that Kenan has committed the murder. When she calls him for investigation, the witness says he gave a false statement to meet Kenan. He hugs him to whisper about meeting the victim’s daughter and leaves.

Kenan tries talking to Sedef, Atilbay’s daughter, but she avoids talking to him. Leyla also gets the news that her father suffered from a heart attack recently. She visits him and leaves after a brief meeting where her sister-in-law and mother express their disappointment in Leyla over not protecting her brother and his sufferings in jail.

Meanwhile, Kenan and Leyla have another dinner date and also attend the funeral of the business, where his daughter admits that he was a rapist and harasser. This creates another news outbreak. Kenan’s father returns to Istanbul and is shocked to see the photo of the witness. He starts a personal investigation.

Kenan spots the old man(the witness who escaped) and follows him. He also informs Leyla, and the two together follow his clues to arrive at a place full of toys. Leyla finds a picture of her father there, which is a big shock for her. Her condition suddenly starts worsening after an attack, and she is rushed to the hospital.

Turan, Kenan’s father, is seen revealing about Kenan’s dissociative personality disorder. He is afraid that it might be possible that even after treatment, the disorder is back, which leads to this murder.
