If you’re here for the latest installment of Bad Girl-Exorcist Reina Chapter 65, we’ll guide you through everything you need to know about it! From a brief recap of what we know so far to release dates, potential spoilers, and where to keep an eye out for new chapters.
For first-time readers, Bad Girl-Exorcist Reina or Furyou Taimashi Reina is a story about a badass exorcist high schooler, Suzuno Reina, and a group of human and non-human friends that go on mysterious adventures dealing with ghosts and Yokais as a common practice. Think of this as the Japanese style of retelling the story of Scooby Doo’s adventures. But without the Mystery Machine.
Bad Girl Exorcist Reina is not the usual slice-of-life story in a school setting you would expect. The series has diverse plot directions that elevate the show beyond its first impressions. Suzuno Reina is a name that even the most disturbing ghosts fear. Otosama, the writer and illustrator for Bad Girl Exorcist Reina, did an excellent job of making well-flushed-out characters with a comedic yet serious story working in tandem.
The events of Chapter 64 were a dead giveaway to the start of a big arc, with the introduction of the Multiverse, an aspect of two or more worlds existing with different realities. A frightening concept, but Suzuno Reina has made up her mind to play along and face the dangers ahead.

In chapter 63, when Reina-chan is on her way to visit Kokoro’s place, Reina bumps heads with someone that looks exactly like Reina-chan herself, but with black hair (Just like her old self) and different attire, who happens to vanish after Reina recovered from the impact. All happening under the witness of Hikaru-Chan!, a friend of Reina that died ages ago. However, Hikaru claims the real Reina was the one with black hair!
Reina then considers the possibility of a “parallel world” and explains to Hikaru that Reina, with black hair and herself, might have switched worlds. Reina made sense of the world she currently is in, a world very different from hers, a world where Hikaru lived.
But, since Reina did not have a place to call home, Hikaru invited Reina to stay over, putting Reina in a conflicting mood to stay at a friend’s home that she failed to save by properly exercising an evil spirit. But Reina cried with joy once realizing that Hikaru from this world is living a happy life, unlike the Hikaru she once knew.
Chapter 64 starts with Hikaru waking up to noises from the kitchen. Upon inspection, she finds Reina ravaging the fridge and eating raw eggs. Hikaru then offered Reina some Onigiri and instant ramen to have a chat. This got sentimental when Hikaru asked about Hikaru from the parallel world.
Disappointingly Reina only told her what she needed to know and skipped the details. But, when Reina confirmed the other Reina’s parents’ line of work, nothing seemed to have changed, allowing Reina to fix the mess she was in by contacting the doppelganger’s parents.
When Reina visited her school to get the parents’ numbers, she ran into the main cast in the parallel world. Reina was able to deduce most of the things like the Occult club missing, weak relations with Watanabe, Tendou and Sasaki, and Reina from this world keeps the exorcism activities at the minimum and instead focuses on making good friends (girls and boys), to which Reina was jealous of her parallel self living a “Peaceful life.”
In Chapter 62, it was established that Reina would be going to the Hoga village to meet Kokoro’s grandma. Once Reina explained the situation to the other Reina’s parents, they surprisingly caught on quickly and were willing to help out once they returned from their ‘job.’
Upon enquiring, Reina was surprised to know they were currently in the Hoga village. Coincidentally, this is also the place Reina initially planned to go. After hearing this, Reina thought of taking the problem to the roots, by traveling to the Hoga village herself.
The chapter finally concludes with the perspective of Reina with black hair stuck in the familiar world, as we find her in the Occult club room crying, asking for an explanation for what’s happening. This situation puts the Reina we know and loves in an embarrassing situation, leaving the cast members shocked by the “change” in Reina’s character.
Bad Girl-Exorcist Reina Chapter 65: Potential Spoilers
Reina is in a different universe! Could this be a Yokai’s doing? If so, this can potentially be the strongest Yokai that Reina would have to exercise. Reina is heading towards the Hoga village, potentially the root of all her problems. With the main cast almost doubled and stories of 2 worlds taking place simultaneously, giving us a lot to work with on the possible ways the story will lead!
